Papa’s boy shahid kapoor
Shahid Kapur has been working with complete dedication on daddy Pankaj Kapur’s movie Mausam. He did not work on any other project because he wanted to completely concentrate on this movie.
“Mausam has a special space in my heart when compared to my other movies because I am honoured to work with my father. He allowed me to work with complete ease,” says Shahid.
The tagline of the movie is: ‘Love goes beyond romance’. He says: “I need not get motivated by this tagline in real. I am a romantic by heart, so love comes and happens naturally to me.”
Speaking about his look in the movie, shahid disclosed that he sports not one but many looks in his father’s venture.
“I have many different looks in the film. And it takes time to grow the moustache, beard… at times I would be required to look thin, at times muscular. And perhaps dad was bored seeing me in funky clothes. He wanted to see me like a man and hence wanted me to play an air force officer. Dad believes that on the big screen, if you play a man, it always looks very attractive”.
Fielding a question about ‘Mausam’s climax, the actor, who till date has not been lucky in his real-life love affairs, revealed that the film has a happy ending.
“In the film I have a very happy love story and there is no sad ending to it. Mausam is not just an ordinary film; it is a different film with its own world and has a unique storyline to convey,” said Shahid.
‘Mausam’ is slated for a Sep. 16 release.
